Teens today constantly battle with negative thoughts and images from social media, which can fuel feelings of low self-esteem. Just as we exercise our muscles to stay fit, it’s important to exercise our minds to stay mentally healthy by connecting with our inner selves through learning and growth. That's why the five principles outlined in the program, R.E.A.C.H. to Connect Within, are designed to teach teens how to connect with themselves using their senses while developing a meaningful relationship with their inner selves.
Teens can learn to strengthen their identity, set goals and priorities, make decisions, and plan ahead when they learn the five principles of R.E.A.C.H.: respect for themselves and others, empowering oneself, adapting to life challenges, caring for themselves and for others, and hearing with their senses.
